Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Daily Photo Mission app and the wyattsmithmedia.com website (together, the "Services"), operated by Wyatt Smith Media LLC ("we," "us"). By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Daily Photo Mission. By using it you confirm you meet that requirement.
Your account
You can use the app as a guest or sign in with Apple. Signing in lets your streak, missions, and posts follow you across devices and re-installs. You're responsible for activity under your account; keep your device and Apple ID secure.
Daily missions & the community
- Missions are creative prompts offered for personal, non-commercial practice. Mission numbers and hashtags (e.g. #DPM12345) are shared so the community can find one another.
- When you post to a public platform like Instagram using a mission hashtag, that post is governed by that platform's terms, not ours.
- Be decent. Don't post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content, and don't use the Services to harm others.
Prompt submissions
If you send us a prompt idea, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, adapt, and publish it within the Services, with optional credit to you. Please only submit ideas that are your own.
Purchases
The app is free to use. Optional Pro features — such as Mission Packs and LUT Packs — are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under your App Store account settings.
Changes & availability
We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes. The Services are provided "as is," without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Privacy Policy
We built Daily Photo Mission to be quiet — with your data, too. We collect only what the app needs to work, we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we don't sell your data.
What we collect, and why
Each of these is used solely for app functionality. None of it is used for tracking or advertising.
Where it lives
Your account and content are stored in Apple's iCloud / CloudKit infrastructure tied to the app. Basic preferences are kept on your device. We don't run our own advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.
What we don't do
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking, and no tracking domains.
- No selling or renting your personal data.
- No third-party advertising networks.
Your choices
- You can use the app as a guest, without signing in.
- You can delete your posts, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
- You control photo-library and notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
Children
Daily Photo Mission isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
App License (EULA)
The Daily Photo Mission app is licensed, not sold, to you. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service.
- Don't copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app.
- Pro content (Mission Packs, LUT Packs) is licensed to you for personal creative use and may not be redistributed or resold.
- This license ends if you breach these terms; on termination you must stop using the app.
This is an agreement between you and Wyatt Smith Media LLC, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, but is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce this license.
LUT & Print License
LUT Packs
When you purchase a LUT Pack, you receive a license to use the color-grading files in your own photo and video work, personal or commercial. You may deliver finished, graded work to clients.
- You may not resell, share, sublicense, or redistribute the LUT files themselves, or include them in a product, preset pack, or template.
- The files remain the intellectual property of Wyatt Smith Media LLC.
Prints
Prints are sold for personal display. They may not be reproduced, scanned, or resold. Copyright in all photographs remains with Wyatt Smith Media LLC unless a separate written license is agreed.
